Connie Bergstein Dow Connie believes that every child should have the opportunity to participate in the arts. She has drawn upon her 40 years as a dance educator in writing her books and articles, to share her experience with teachers, parents and caregivers.

Dance, Turn, Hop, Learn! - Enriching Movement Activities for Preschoolers, her first book, contains lessons based on playful themes which follow the school calendar, providing a year's worth of movement activities. Each lesson is a rich source of ideas to spur children's imaginations, refine movement skills, and address educational standards. It also provides suggestions for music, stories, and simple props with which to enhance the activities.

One, Two, What Can I Do? Dance and Music for the Whole Day is filled with more than 100 movement activities built around the child's day: greetings, circle games, transitions, large motor skill development, and quiet-down games, as well as ideas for informal presentations. This book comes with a double CD of songs and instrumental selections by music enrichment specialist Debbie Clement.
